Q. I’ve just joined Mail Diary Panel. What should I do
now?
|

A. Before doing any other diaries you must complete the online
Introductory survey.

Q. Where do I go to access online diaries?
|
|
|
|
A. Once you log in you should be taken to your member page. Online
diaries which are currently accessible appear as links in the grid. For
example, the December 2005. diary will appear as December
2005. Click on this link to enter the diary.

Q. How do I access the Introductory survey?
|
|
|
|
A. If you have not completed the Introductory survey a link to it will
appear in the grid on your member page. Once you have done the Introductory
survey you will be eligible for the next monthly diary as soon as it opens.

Q. Why can’t I see any diary links on my member page?
|
|
|
|
A. If you haven’t registered for online diaries you will not see any
diary links. How to register for online diaries.
|

Q. Why do I get an “Access Denied” message when I click
on my diary link?
|
|
|
|
A. There are a couple of possibilities:
• If you have accessed the diary in the last 15 minutes you cannot re-enter.
Please wait and try again.
• Occasionally your completion of an online diary will take a few hours to
register on your member page. During this time the diary link will still be
visible but access will be denied when you click on the link. In this case
please check another time to check that your diary’s status is “Complete”.

Q. How do I complete my online diary?
|
|
|
|
A. To complete a diary for any particular month you must access it
during the month which follows the month of the diary. For example, the
November 2005 diary must be accessed between December 1st 2005 and December
31st 2005 in order for you to complete it and be awarded the points.

|
Q. How can I earn extra points?
|
|
|
|
A. One way to earn extra points is to get your friends to join Mail
Diary Panel. All you have to do is enter their details on the “Refer a friend”
page. They will then be sent an invitation to join Mail Diary Panel. You will
earn bonus points as soon as they register with us and complete the online
Introductory survey. (Your friends must not be existing MDP members or members
of your household.)

Q. Not all the members of my household are listed in my
online diaries. How do I add them?
|
|
|
|
A. If none of the members of your household are listed, the first thing
to ask is “have you done the Introductory survey?”
It is through this survey that household members are originally added. If you
have done the Introductory survey then you can add extra household members
through the Update Details page.

|
|
Q. How can I update my address or other personal
details?
|
|
|
|
A. We would like you to check and update your personal details every 3
months. To do this visit the “Member Details” page by clicking on the
Update Details link in the menu bar. You can also add and delete
household members on this page.

Q. How do I redeem points?
|
|
|
|
A. Once you have logged in click on the Order a Gift
link in the menu bar. On the next page you can select gifts up to the value of
your current balance. Gifts will be mailed out to you within 2 weeks of your
order. (Please ensure that we have your correct mailing address before you
order gifts.)

Q. How do I change my password?
|
|
|
|
A. We recommend you select a password which is memorable but hard for
others to guess. You can change your password by clicking on the
Change Password link in the menu bar.

Q. How do I register for online diaries?
|
|
|
|
A. If you are still receiving your diaries through the mail you should
see the following link on your member page: Register for online diaries. Click
this and fill in the simple form if you would like to complete diaries online
rather than through the mail.

|
Q. How can I resign from Mail Diary Panel?
|
|
|
|
A. If you want to leave the panel permanently please send us an email
saying you want to be removed, not forgetting to quote your username.
